Life is A beautiful Struggle

in which, one remembers god.
Art :http://iminderarts.com/
If there was no pain, then how can one appreciate the value of happiness? Sometimes i think when I am in need of "inspiration", god sends me reasons to shed tears. How could I have ever loved god, if everyone loved me? Not only he has made me appreciate the value of happiness, but he has proved to me that, when everyone walks out of a person's life, Wahiguru (Wonderful god) will be there, right next to you. Physically and emotionally.

But when god gives us reasons to be happy, then why does it takes us 1 second to forget him? How can one feel so blessed one minute, and then another second have him lost.

If dukh is what makes me closer to you, then how can I ignorant, soul, complain about it?

Dukh daru sukh rogh pyai.

This is a selfish soul, which can neither appreciate any pain nor handle any happinesss..

Long Journey

The path upon which I walk is very depressing.
It is sharper than a two edged sword, and very narrow.
This is where my path lies.
O Shakeeh Fareed, think of this path early on.

(note: in order to listen to this, scroll all the way, at the end of this blog, and stop the kirtan.)

view out the window, it was beautiful to do nitnem outside, while enjoying wahiguru's creation.  (Wonderful god)
This is where all of us girl's stayed (2 nights). There were about 20 Kaur's.

Gurpreet phenjee, and aman phenjee not sharing!! hehe

On the last day of camp, all of the campers including the sevadars, were writing letter to Wahiguru, expressing anything that came in mind, or anywishes they had. We were told that these letters will be send to god. After everyone took thier time to write them, Ardass was done by Bibi Jasdeep Kaur, and the letters were burned, and send to wahiguru. And just like, end was made to Kamai Camp, (mini version of Kaurs United Camp.)

Bhai Joga Singh Jee

Bhai Joga singh lived around the time of guru gobind singh jee. When Bhai Joga singh jee met guru jee, he asked bhai joga singh jee's name, and then asked him who is he worthy of?(also known as Joga). Bhai Joga Singh Jee said, I am worty of you guru jee, and guru jee told him, and guru is worthy of you(joga). For many years at Anandpur, He served guru jee well. As the sakhi(story) goes, bhai Joga singh jee left Anadpur Sahib, to get married to pasavar. Guru Gobind Singh Jee, told bhai Joga Jee, that when he is to be called, he should come right away. So after bhai joga singh jee's fourth lava, Guru Gobind Singh jee send his Sikhs to tell bhai joga jee, that guru jee needs him to come, in the middle of the wedding. As he halted for a night at Hosiarpur, on his way to guru gobind singh jee, bhai joga singh's mind got enticed by seeing a beautiful courtesan (prostitute). As he went to womens door, the women told bhai joga singh jee "what are you doing here? your a guru's sikh?". Bhai Joga singh jee attempted to go again, trying to hide this face, with scarf. Failed to attempt, Bhai Joga singh jee left dissappointed towards Guru Jee. When Guru Gobind Singh Jee asked him, how his jorney was, he try to hide it, however, when guru jee kept asking it again, Bhai Joga Singh Jee final admitted his error, which was build due to his pride of leaving in the middle of his wedding. So he told the guru gobind singh jee, and other sikhs of how he was fallen, and was saved due to guru jee's grace.

Guru Gobind Singh jee saved his Sikh from lust, because Bhai Joga jee did something for the guru.

Moral of the story: Even the most Chardikala Sikhs, who has guru jee's blessing, can be fallen down. It is important that just because we wake up at amritvela, do simran, we have to be carefully not to get too much ego from it, because anytime, and anywhere guru jee can take away from us, what he has given us.

Later Gurdwara was dedicated to Bhai Joga singh jee in Hoshiarpur

Fear of losing you

Everyman is afraid of something. That's how you know he's in love with you; when he's afraid of losing you. -Unkown

The soul that had been awaken, uplifted by the desire of God, inevitably, awake to the fear of losing him.

saa budhh dheejai jith visarehi naahee || Give me that state of mind, by which I may not forget You.

1984 genocide pictures.

Yet, this is nothing compared to how much more happened in 1984.
May wahiguru help us realize, how precious Sikhi is.

Nirankari Massacre of Sikhs

Other than the obvious on Vaisakhi, when guru gobind singh jee established the Khalsa at Anadpur Sahib in 1699, here's other as follows:

The 1978 Nirankari Massacre of Sikhs
April 13th, 1978.
Other than the obvious. here's other as follows:
Nirankari's followers of Gurbchan singh were holding procession in Amritsar and were shouting insulting slogans directed at Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the Sikh religion. They gave disgarding names to Prominent Gursikhs such as Bhai Gurdas jee, Bibi Nanaki, Bhai Lalo jee, and few others. They also reffered to Guru Granth Shaib jee as "bundle of papers", and called Kar seva, as "Bekar Seva". he further published articles stating that, Gurdwara Sarovars are pools which serve no purpose; Guru Gobind Singh Ji knew nothing about meditation; that no sensible person can call the writings in the 'bulky miscellany' (referring to Guru Granth Sahib Ji) a divine revelation.

Bhai fauja Singh, Bhai Joginder Singh, and other few singhs apon hearing this did Ardas and went to Ramdas Nivas. When they got their the procession had finsihed, so the SIkhs decided to go to Nirankari's place and protest peacefully, However the police stopped the Sikhs and told them, they would stop Nirankari's. However after 3o mintues of wait, the poiice came back with more gunmans and told them that the procession had been done long awhile ago. But the provoking speeches were still heard from the loud speaker.

Then 5 to 6 thousand Nirankaris, rushed towards 2-3 houndrad Sikhs with weapons including guns! The Sikhs were fired upon pistols, rifles, spears, swords, bow and arrows, sticks, stones, acid bottles and home made bombs. Many Sikhs on the ground, the police then also started to fire bulltets and gas toward the Jatha of Sikhs, In this way the Nirankaris recived even greater assistence.

Bhai Fauja Singh Jee was fired by Police, while bullets in his chest Bhai Sahib kept uttering Wahiguru. Two singhs tried to take bhai Sahib to the hospital, however police aressted them, and the police took Bhai Fauja Singh on the "dead wagon", however according to another Singh, Bhai Fauja jee was still breathing after 3o mintues, and was not allowed to help Bhai sahib who was still reciting wahiguru, and eventually he attainted martyrdom, when Bibi Amarjit arrived.
D.S.P Joshi was responsible for shooting Bhai Fauja Singh. He did not allow anyone to provide medical attention to Bhai Fauja Singh.

Thirteen Gursikhs and seventy wounded. Ten Gursikhs were members of the Akhand Kirtani Jatha and two from the Bhindra Jatha. Many of them left wives and children. The Khalsa Panth will always remember the thirteen Shaheeds, as will their great Kurbani.
Funeral of these brave Gursikhs took at Gurdwara Ramsar Sahib.
